Government employees were using government credit cards to buy themselves ipods, lingerie and anything else they could get away with, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

This is reason number 101 that we should not expand the size and scope of government.
David Mamet, America's greatest living playwright, recently declared he is "no longer a brain dead liberal" because he realized that the private sector is organized much more efficiently than the government. Hopefully his fans are paying attention.
