Hollywood was more patriotic before 9-11

In a recent Podcast, Sam and I discuss Hollywood's refusal to make patriotic, pro-U.S. movies about the war on terror. Check out this thoughtful video:

One of the key observations is that Hollywood actually made a lot of movies before 9/11 about Islamic terrorism like True Lies, the Siege, and Executive Decision. Today we mostly get box office duds where America is the villain.
